Synopsis

Jeremy Irons stars as despondent history teacher Tom Crick in this moody drama helmed by Stephen Gyllenhaal. With Crick's wife (Sinéad Cusack) teetering on the edge of madness, he finds himself at a crisis point -- which he grapples with by taking his class on a surreal field trip through his haunting memories. The supporting cast includes Ethan Hawke, Lena Headey, David Morrissey, John Heard and Pete Postlethwaite.
