Synopsis

Satan's favorite son, the Warlock (Julian Sands), returns -- this time to collect six ancient stones that will unlock his father from hell and return him to Earth. Complicating matters are two high schoolers (Paula Marshall and Chris Young) -- both descended from Druid warriors -- who unknowingly hold the power to save the world. Director Anthony Hickox's blood-drenched sequel pulls out all the stops.

Most Helpful Reviews

Rigel:

The only connection this sequel has to the original is Julian Sands as the warlock, and it's unclear if his character is any relation to its predecessor. The camp is still present, with fewer but a nonzero number of deadpan lines. Gore is cranked up, tho it's still over-the-top nonscary. Replacing the ditzy stereotypical redhead from the first film are two young lovers who become witch-hunters, somewhat inexplicably. The plot is nearly identical otherwise, as Sands' warlock, looking a little road-weary after the first film, robotically stomps onward to his goal, leaving a trail of greenish-black blood and bodies in his wake. The romance and Jedi-like training subplots make for fun family fare that obviously doesn't belong, so you can read a book while the kissing is going on. End result is a bit less original junk food with a bigger budget.
