Synopsis

With the lives of nonbelievers and heretics hanging in the balance, Grand Inquisitor Torquemada (Lance Henriksen) orchestrates a murderous campaign of terror during the height of the Spanish Inquisition, evoking fear in the hearts of those he holds captive. Stuart Gordon (known for his remakes of H.P. Lovecraft's Re-Animator and From Beyond) directs this sinister adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's classic short story.
