Synopsis

For as long as 16-year-old farmhand Ben Mockridge (Gary Grimes) can remember, he's wanted to be a cowboy -- and now, thanks to tough-talking trail boss Frank Culpepper (Billy Green Bush), he finally has a chance to prove himself. But as Ben puts his skills to the test on a bona fide cattle drive, he learns that life on the lonely prairie is more complicated than he ever imagined. Dick Richards directs in his feature-film debut.
