The Ben man:

A home run right out of the park, Though it is only the pilot this show succeeded in doing a great set up regarding its characters and direction. Special credit to Bradley Whitford for after 7 yrs of West wing he has already established a new character (and in just one episode) same goes Mat the Bing Perry who has always been an underrated drama actor. I cannot complete my review with out saying hats off to Steve Webber who after yrs of playing in light on Wings now truly reaches his mark as an actor in this drama. I look forward to the many yrs ahead that this show is likely to have

MattyMatt:

It should be noted that this DVD won't play on PS2s. Other than that, it's great -- a fast, fun, bouncy, not-too-deep steadycam chase through the TV industry. A sketch comedy show, formerly of a high caliber but lately given to pandering, makes the news when the director flips out and tells the audience and his bosses that they suck. It's up the the sexy young lady executive to rebuild the reputation of the show, the clout of the network, and the quality of TV; and she just might do it, thanks to her own pluck, some precarious alliances with fragile geniouses, and extremely rapid banter. Contrived and silly, it left me breathless.

I you liked The West Wing even a little, you should like this new Aaron Sorkin show. Amazing cast and this Pilot makes me want to see more. I fear it may be too good to last on Network TV.

Sith Kicker:

Very very good writing, with the rhythm reminding me of the first episode of West Wing. Matthew Perry and Bradley Whitford are very likable as the leads. This show will hopefully do well.

I saw the advanced NBC commercial and had my trepidations as to what this show could be. Gladly they were unwarranted, and the show far exceeded my expectations! Matthew Perry who can grate on your nerves in his drama/slapstick style movies, excels here doing drama/humor (cutting back on the sarcasm) instead. Good storyline leaves a lot to expand on. A lot of stars and guest stars going in and out, and if they weren?t there the show would still be exemplar. This is a show that I?ll watch for the whole season, just based on the potential of this Pilot.

It's an interesting show. Unfortunately Amanda Peet is way too cheeky in the character and reminds me of Bugs Bunny. For a pilot it was surprisingly good. Let's just see if they can maintain it over the long haul.
