Synopsis

As Staten Island mobster Parmie (Vincent D'Onofrio) draws the media's attention to an environmental issue, septic-tank cleaner Sully (Ethan Hawke) prepares to rob the gangster's safe, and deli worker Jasper (Seymour Cassel) carves up the dead bodies of Parmie's enemies. The directorial debut of James DeMonaco, this crime thriller features compelling performances, offbeat humor and striking violence.
