Synopsis

While paying a visit to the secluded Whirlen Merlin Magic Academy, Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne, Fred and Velma attempt to stop sinister forces that want the school closed. JEDIPUNK:

Finally, a return to the old Scooby-Doo where the monsters are a mystery and not real. While the ending was predictable due to a lot of clues, it would be perfect for the 8-12 year old crowd. Of course, hearing Matthew Lillard as Shaggy is always fun. Plus we finally meet Velmas sister.

Pat McManus:

The plot was so stupid and soo typical whats new scooby doo im still a kid and was bored to sleep( no really, about 35mins. in it paused it and took a ten minuet nap!). The animation looks like a comic book and not as fined-tuned as the first series from the late 60s! At first sight, the new characters just made you get up and shout oh they did it! but then you figure that they are the same as any other mysterty characters and it is easy to tell who did it and who helped. The last 20 mins werent nessicary because a 6 year old can figure out what happens. I am a true scooby fan and love the classics but still have an open mind about the new ones and still only recommend this movie to devoted fans, who in their eyes scooby can do no wrong, and for your kids i recommend something like meets the boo brothers or goul school. Disappointed!
