Synopsis

Iconic director Howard Hawks masters another genre with this emotional, fast-paced examination of the lives of three ambitious stock-car racers -- Mike (James Caan), Ned (John Robert Crawford) and Dan (Skip Ward) -- whose overwhelming desire to win puts their lives in constant danger.
