Synopsis

Sensing he's in over his head with Tigg Montague, Jonas Chuzzlewit tries to skip town but finds he's no match for the mind of a private detective. As a result, he's blackmailed into convincing Seth Pecksniff that he should invest in Montague's company. Meanwhile, young Martin Chuzzlewit is on his way home.
