Synopsis

As the elder Martin Chuzzlewit lies ailing, his far-flung relatives -- who've heard the news that Chuzzlewit's grandson has been disinherited -- are scrambling to get in line for their fair share. Meanwhile, Chuzzlewit's cousin, Seth Pecksniff, is planning the ultimate inheritance scheme.
