Synopsis

When hard-bitten motivational speaker Jack Corcoran (Bill Murray) learns the father he never knew has passed away, Jack inherits a gargantuan legacy: an enormous debt and an elephant named Vera that his dad worked with when he was a circus clown. To pay off the large sum of money that his estranged father owes, Jack must sell Vera, bringing the 8,000-pound pachyderm on a 2,000-mile cross-country adventure.
