Synopsis

Did Dracula really exist? Christopher Lee -- who's played his share of big-screen vampires -- narrates this documentary about the horror legend, presenting historical reenactments, Transylvanian folklore and cinematic and literary tales. Based on a best-selling book by Romanian scholars, the film traces the Dracula story from its origins in the real-life bloodthirsty Vlad the Impaler to the mid-1970s.
