Synopsis

When his best friend (Jason Segel) announces he's engaged, single guy Ted (Josh Radnor) throws his search for a soul mate into high gear. Via flashback, he recounts to his kids 25 years later the often-hilarious story of how he met -- and eventually married -- their mother. Neil Patrick Harris (in a Golden Globe-nominated turn) co-stars as Ted's barhopping buddy, Barney, in this hit sitcom that earned multiple Emmys for its art direction.
