Synopsis

Poised at the edge of World War II, Anne Keyes (Romola Garai), eldest sibling in a powerful family, uncovers secret anti-appeasement movement recordings and a shocking sequence of truths that cause her safe and insular world to come crashing down around her. Writer-director Stephen Poliakoff's emotional political drama is set in London and rural East England, and features veteran actors Bill Nighy, Julie Christie and Christopher Lee.
