Edoardo Ponti writes and directs this intense, Toronto-set drama about three women of different ages -- photographer Natalia (Mira Sorvino), housewife Olivia (Sophia Loren) and concert cellist Catherine (Deborah Kara Unger) -- who change their lives when they confront their painful pasts. Malcolm McDowell co-stars as Catherine's abusive father, and Pete Postlethwaite plays Olivia's wheelchair-bound husband.
