So, how does this work?

FeedFliks uses the Netflix API

When you click on the 'Connect to Netflix' button below, you'll be taken to a Netflix page which will ask you to log in and grant FeedFliks access to read your Netflix data. This is an authentication process called OAuth and allows you to authorize sites (like FeedFliks) to access your data without having to share your username/password credentials. Once you click on the 'Yes, Link This Acount' button on the Netflix page, you will be returned to FeedFliks and be able to see your rental history, your queue, your reviews and so on - plus very cool graphs and statistics about how you're using your Netflix account. The entire process should be complete in about half a minute. If you've been a Netflix member for very long and have hundreds and hundreds of titles in your rental history, it might take a wee bit longer

It's important to understand what information FeedFliks will and will not have access to:

First, here's what FeedFliks will not have access to:

• » Netflix will not share your account credentails with FeedFliks. This means that the email address and password that you use to sign on to Netflix are never known to FeedFliks
• » FeedFliks will not have access to any sensitive account information like your credit card information
• » FeedFliks will not have access to your shipping address or know where you live

Next, here's what FeedFliks will have access to:

• » FeedFliks will have ongoing access to information about your Queue, your Reviews, your DVD Rentals and Instantly Watched titles. We use this to keep your FeedFliks page up-to-date and, if you signed up for them, send you email alerts about DVDs you've held onto for far too long. You can revoke this access at any time at http://netflix.com/ThirdPartyAccess
• » FeedFliks will have the ability to add or remove movies from your Queue or to allow you to add or change movie ratings. Rest assured that changes to your Queue have to be explicitly initiated by you.
